Jae Sin is the main protagonist of the Promised Orchid.
Appearance[]
Jae Sin is a young teenager who has a slim build, he has a chiseled jaw and turquoise eyes. His hair is either light brown or strawberry blonde depending on the lighting in some scenes and is short and unkempt. On his forearms he has markings which he calls a "stigma" which glows in certain situations (possibly when its power is used). Jae Sin also carries a pair of red round glasses on him.

He owns a pair of glasses which allows him to see the "Specters" who disguise themselves as humans. These glasses also allow him to see supernatural phenomena that the eyes of humans wouldn't catch, such as when a barrier was erected underneath a bridge to hide the fox specter's nest. Although soon after, the glasses merge with Jae Sin.

So Cheon -[]
Yang Jae Sin's relationship with So Cheon starts with them meeting at the Promised Orchid Shrine, as Jae Sin searches for a female ghost with red hair. With what starts off with a misunderstanding grows into a mutual partn but dse died she was in the shrine and looked human. After freeing the spectre and saving a dog, who we know as Belly, with the help of Socheon, they flee back to Jae Sin's house. After another battle, with the help of Belly, they are safe to rest easy for the moment.
Jae Sin and So Cheon have a conversation where she reveals that she is in need of help, even though she is a spectre, and Jae SIn agrees to help her. From then on, they had formed a partnership. In the end of the story she dissapeared because she opens the gate to the sage realm to save the human realm and causing desctruction there. However Jae Sin pledge to the Queen Mother to revive So Cheon with half of his soul, because of this she said that thay cannky meet again or else thay will dissapeared. After a lot of years Jae Sin meet again with the Queen Mother and she takes So Chon's ring and converse with him. When she give the ring back it fell down and roll into So Cheon, Jae Sin tried to run but he got caught by So Cheon (So Cheon doesn't remember him) and when he thought they will disappear, they didn't. It is actually the last gift for them to live their lives normally.
Golden Crown -[]
Golden Crown almost murders Jae Sin when he was a child, but let him free. He asked Jae Sin if he was a spectre, because if he was human, he would kill him.
In Jae Sin's previous life, as Cheon Ha, Golden Crown took the form of So Cheon's father to create a war between humans and spectres. Not knowing that the form he took was So Cheon's father, Cheon Ha stabs him in the gut.
Near the end of the story we find out that Golden Crown is actually Cheon Ha's grand uncle, as he is the younger brother of his grandfather.
